A writer of fiction who is interested in how absence shapes our lives, Kolina Cicero’s work uncovers meaning from loss, abandonment, and disappearance. She is the author of the indie-published children’s book ROSIE AND THE HOBBY FARM, a judge for NYC Midnight’s short fiction challenges, a freelance writer, grant writer, and an active member of a fiction writing workshop since 2018.
Kolina has an undergraduate degree in journalism and mass communications with a minor in Italian studies, and a graduate degree in Italian studies from Middlebury college. She writes a weekly newsletter about books called Words on Words.
